ABOUT LUCYBELLE'S
Our designer, Tiffany Burleson, is also an actress, an artist, and former preschool teacher who started making cards in her spare time. She stamped and she stitched. She painted and she printed. She drew and she designed. And she gave. She gave these handmade cards for holidays, birthdays, and baby showers. After many friends inquired about learning to make the cards she thought of having a little class but realized that most of these friends were too busy to create. What they wanted and what was practical were two different things. Having never seen anything particularly earth-shattering about her work, she began to realize that what made her creations special was that she had and took the time to create them. That is what made her cards unique.
A NOTE FROM TIFFANY
When I first started creating in my home, one thing led to another and handmade cards turned into printed gift tags which turned into printed name cards and so on and so on. I simply took every day needs and every day talents and tried to produce charmingly creative and affordable projects that everyone could enjoy. Soon, it became a homespun business! "Lucy" is my mother's first name. I found out later my great grandmother and great great grandmother were Lucy and Belle! I hope I can honor them in some small way.
